What is EMFace®?

EMFace® is a facial treatment that combines two advanced technologies: high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM®) energy and synchronized radiofrequency (RF) energy.

The Sports Chiro & Rehab team uses the HIFEM energy to stimulate involuntary contractions in your facial muscles while the RF energy gently heats the skin and underlying tissues. This boosts circulation and collagen production, tones hard-to-activate muscles, and improves overall tissue health

What happens during EMFace treatments?

When you come in for your EMFace session, you’ll relax while the team applies small applicators to targeted areas of your face, such as the forehead and cheeks. This gentle treatment requires no numbing cream or preparation.

Once treatment starts, you’ll feel rhythmic facial muscle contractions and a mild warming sensation. It should feel something like a facial workout, but not painful. Each session lasts about 20 minutes.

Afterward, you may feel mild muscle fatigue or tightness, but there’s no downtime, and you can return to normal activities immediately. For best results, the team typically schedules a series of sessions over several weeks. This helps your muscles and tissues to adapt and improve.
